Keswick is is in the Northern Lake District just 20 minutes along the A66 trunk road from Junction 40 of the M6 motorway. Coming from the South it can also be accessed via the Junction 36 (South Lakes) of the M6. Head initially for Windermere along the A591 and then to Ambleside before following the A591 past Grassmere and eventually onto Keswick. (Note: Whilst this route is shorter it can often take longer than going via Junction 40.) The nearest railway station is at Penrith, which is on the West Coast Main Line. From here there is a regular bus service to Keswick. Aura is located at 36A Skiddaw Street just to the North East of Keswick. Going north along Penrith Street (A5271) from the Town Centre turn right onto Blencathra Street and then Skiddaw Street is the second road on the left. (See Streetmap link ) |
